Aegean meadow brown. Embonas, July 2020. Common and widespread, numerous in some western areas. Distribution in Europe restricted to a few islands in eastern Aegean. Wingspan 35-50 mm. Sexes similar, upper forewing much darker in males. Flies January to October in one generation. Intermittent aestivation in mid-summer. Light shrubland, meadows, idle farmland, rocky slopes.
