Geranium bronze. Pefki, July 2020. Native of southern Africa accidentally introduced in Europe in late 20th century. Well established on Rhodes. Widespread and common in gardens with Geranium plants. Wingspan 15-25 mm. Sexes similar. Unique mottled pattern on underside of wings. Apparently flies all year in several generations. Usually keeps wings closed when settled. Sedentary behaviour with long spells of inactivity.
