Common blue (female). Dimilia, August 2020. Common and widespread in small numbers. Wingspan 20-35 mm (very small individuals in summer generation). Upper side of wings lilac blue with thin black borders in males, light brown with reddish yellow spots and various amounts of blue dusting in females. Flies January to November in two or three generations. Diverse open habitats with flowers, including parks and gardens. Usually settles with open wings. Roaming behaviour.
