Mallow skipper. Salakos, May 2019. Common and widely distributed. Wingspan 25-30 mm. Sexes similar. Flies January to November in two or three generations (lighter overall colouring of second and third generations). Very diverse mostly open habitats, including parks and gardens. Usually feeds and rests with wide-open wings. Fast flight low over ground.
