Millet skipper. Pefki, September 2020. Widespread in eastern, central and northern areas, occurrence in small numbers, often single males. Distribution in Europe restricted to a few islands in eastern Aegean. Red-listed in Greece as endangered. Wingspan 30-35 mm. Sexes similar. Flies May to October in two generations. Fields, rocky slopes, dry riverbeds, parks and gardens. Feeds avidly on nectar. Fast darting flight. Territorial male behaviour.
