Resident, common and widespread. Length 45-50 cm, wingspan 85-100 cm. Sexes similar. Diverse habitats. Omnivorous. Intelligent, steals eggs from nests, hides food, and generally can solve simple problems when foraging. Nests in trees, on cliff ledges, offshore rocks.
